Firstly, this is for the Vinyl edition of this album. MBDTF is an amazing album on its own, in probably any other format. As for the vinyl, I have no idea why this required 3 disks at all. At 68 minutes this could have easily been fitted on two disks at most.The space clearly didn’t help audio quality, as even when output on different players & listened through with different headphones, it sounded lượt thích somebody recorded the audio with their cheap phone and pressed the sound into vinyl.I honestly cannot stress how terrible this sounds. Absolutely not worth the price, as you’d legitimately have a better listening experience if listened to through literally ANY other medium.The packaging does look very pretty, và the poster is a nice touch. However one of the changeable cover art is of the censored version. Why it’s censored in the first place I’ll never understand.The individual records however could not have worse packaging. They’re wrapped in the thinnest & cheapest looking paper I’ve seen, và the disks themself have no markings indicating the track listings, what side is A or B, or even what number record they are. It’s tedious enough to change the record every few minutes. Lớn not know if the next track is the right one chronologically is just another chore.The only way I’d recommend this record khổng lồ anybody is as an overpriced wall decoration, because it fails miserably at its one job as a medium for music.Supremely disappointed in every regard. Save your money.
I"m a big Kanye fan, and this is my favorite album of his. However, the record itself skipped so frequently throughout each and every tuy vậy that it was unlistenable. It was really very frustrating. The skipping occurred on both sides of each of the three discs. I think the longest it went without skipping was a minute or less. With some songs it was every few seconds.
Arguably being Kanye"s best album, I had to purchase this on vinyl. Upon opening the vinyl, you are greated with a nice tri-fold outer sleeve. The artwork can be switched out between one of the multiple covers which is great! The vinyls themselves sound good và certainly met my expectations. For the albums that Kanye has released on vinyl (mainly MBDTF and 808s), the presentation is on point.

I like Kanye but haven’t followed him too much over the last decade but this is quality artistic music và the vinyl artwork has superb quality. For people who think it’s dumb to lớn be 3 lps, know that that made the quality much better than it they squeezed everything onto one... That middle portion is hard to lớn make sound good. The particular copy I received was mishandled quite a bit and the damage happened before it was sent because box was perfect. Stupid when people thing it’s ok khổng lồ send out a bent up copy that loses a lot of value for that. This copy should have been $20 the way it was handled before packaged. Very disappointed and sending back.. Hopefully the next one will be better.
If I am just rating how much I lượt thích the album itself, I give it 5 stars, lots of great songs on this. I am more giving 4 stars just for the difficulty dealing with the packaging. & I don"t mean the box it was shipped in, I mean the actual album jacket and contents. Its this elaborate trifold meant lớn hold the 3 separate discs. It"s not the easiest album to lớn "just throw on" on a whim not only because of that aspect but also because there"s like 2-3 songs per side only and you"re constantly flipping or returning to the elaborate jacket to lớn get the next disc out. Not only that but there"s really no easy to read place on the entire album that tells you what songs are on what sides/discs, và you can"t even tell what side of what disc you"re even looking at without squinting at the factory etchings in good lighting. I actually resorted to writing down the discs/songs track listing on a piece of notepad paper I put in the jacket so that if I want lớn jump lớn a specific song I don"t have to do 5 mintues of detective work first.Great album, but the packaging is a bit much.
I"m not a huge hip hop tín đồ or even a huge Kanye West fan, but even I can"t deny that this is one of the best albums of the decade. Every track hits on something both modern & timeless. The presentation on this tri-fold 3-LP set is really beautiful. The album art is stamped on each disc, và I guess you can also pull different pictures out to lớn look at or display, although I haven"t done that. I always thought it was a shame that incredible, history-making albums like this are mostly seen on ugly CD Jewel cases or worse, just an image on a screen. This one is worth going big for, and it finally has the format it deserves.
Everything that is pictures is as it comes. The production quality is superb, the only thing that I would like to mention is that the two posters that are visible are actually larger in size, they are about two times the width of the record & two times the height. Other than that I have nothing negative khổng lồ say about the items.
Great record, awesome format and presentation. Unfortunately, IMHO, only 2 tracks per side và it clearly looks like you could fit the entire album in 2 discs, seems like a lot of plastic gone khổng lồ waste.
