Southeast Asian film distributor Odex announced on Tuesday that it will mở cửa the Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale film in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, & Brunei on February 18, the same day as the Japanese opening.
In addition, Odex confirmed that in the Philippines, the film will screen exclusively in SM Cinemas.

Kadokawa had announced in October that the film would be “simultaneously released worldwide on February 18, 2017.” The film’s staff previously confirmed that the film will screen in about 1,000 theaters worldwide.
